The small side of football violence

15mm is my favorite scale for massed miniatures games – which is for me more then 10 minis a side. As I am in exotic backgrounds and settings I love Aggro 70 (german / english). Getting into fight over whos team is the best is much more fun on tabletop as on the streets.

So I have done some research to get minis for 15mm Aggro. I have found usefull minis at Rebels Minis (modern rioters, pulp thugs and pulp policemen) Khurasan Miniatures (modern rioters / zombies) and Irregular Miniatures (rioters – not in the pictures).

All had to be converted. Manly to get a football-look with scarves. Also the police got their heads removed to get an english look.hools1hools2hools3hools4hools5hools6bobby1

I want to ride my bicycle

I have got some new gimmick – a light tent – so it will be better pics „soon“. But first I have to learn to use the camera right. Oh and how to use the right software to get the best out of them.

Anyway – I am going to start with my 15mm lads on bikes for the use with Very British civil War. The minis are from Peter Pig – WWI Belgish cyclist and WWII Homeguard – slightly conversions on all of them at the head.

Stompas an‘ other tinkans

Completly from scratch I have done my tincans. The Stompas where converted.

As you could see all of them got some extra armour and rivetts, of course. They have got their weapons moved and got some extra firepower. One of them now is technicaly not a Stompa as he has now tracks to move.

The Killakans and the Dreadnoughts are scratch – which is the fun part of making an orc horde.

I have used lots of bits an things and plasticcards. They are based on coins.

WIP – Armed british police force 1930s-1950s

I am going to get some miniatures for VBCW in 15mm. As I have got some miniatures I could use for militias raised by workers I was thinking of some other stuff. As a Dr. Who game is still in my head I tought a armed police force would be nice. So I converted some PeterPig an Flames of War with heads from british sun helmets (as I did for Aggro 70 bobbies). Now I have got some Constables and a Chief to lead a force and some Bobbies on bikes as fast response or whatever.

I already have some ready painted rifle and sten-gun armed Policemen – but still no picture at the moment. This will change hopefully next week.

Bobbys on the beat

Here are the first finished Aggro-minis. Two coppers ready to defend order against the evil football scum…

Here are a coparisson shot with some Work in progress 15mm minis I will use for Aggro in 15mm. These are conversion from Peter Pig WWII civilians and police / airwarden and Flames of War civilians. They just got their heads swaped with Peter Pig Colonial British Heads and a blob of greenstuff for the policestar.

The ugly face of football

I used to play a game of Aggro 70 at Hamburg tactica this year. Setting firms of Hools against each other to discuss which football team ist better. It was a fun to play. The minis are a real fun. You get not only 70s footballfan in collar shirts and bell-bottom-jeans but also skinhead and reenes – oh and Bobbys as well. If you want to know more about the german Aggro 70 scene you can have al look at their blog.

I got some Aggro minis as a present. So I used to begin painting them. But before I had to do some conversion to get some more personell feeling to them. In fact I am planing to build up some 15mm minis for Aggro. As I am planing to do some 15mm VBCW. Some Bobbys I have already converted.

German Revolutionary Unrest Conversions

To get some variety I have made some conversions. But I have only taken a few pictures. But you can guess what I have done to make Karl (on the left) and his evil twin Herrman (on the right)

Here are some conversions I have done with miliput and greenstuff. Some are as minor as a collar and an armband. But the kneeling one – who looks like the actor Marion Adorf (I will take a closer pic) – had his furry hat and vest removed and got some new clothes, oh and he was shaved. The origianl figure you can see at copplestone casting.
